A waste of time.

How can this be? 2-1 by AC Milan? Nuts! The first goal by AC was by luck, where it bounced of Inzaghi shoulder. The second one was by stupidity, Rena why can't you stay put and save that goal?Heck of all goals, the one by Liverpool would be the most deserving of all, but no they had to squander PLENTY of chances..

Where was the spirit of 2005? Why did they have to go down this way? I wonder how the team of 2005 was feeling particularly Dudek who was sitting on the bench, must have feel great to exit the club in this manner.

I'm not a Reds supporter but it feel sad not to relived 2005 again..

MU losing 3-0?

Now first and foremost, let me make myself clear,I am not a MU fan. It just so happen that this was one of the last matches that was going to be played, so I thought why not,it is only gonna cost me to sacrifice my sleep and lose couple of brain cells in the process.Duh!!

So anyway, I started watching at about 02.30 when the game kicked off and sure enough, goals were scored by Kaka and Seedorf. In the 2nd half, Gilardino scored another goal making it 3-0.Now united had a couple of chances of level the scored but somehow they just didn't manage to capitalised on these chances.

I would also like to comment on the lack of organisation on Man U part especially on the part of it's defence. It was sloppy, how is it that the AC Milan players manage to find themselves in the penalty box without encountering any resistance many of a times in the game.So MU has it self to blame, too many mistakes and wasted opportunities.

Well,I hope Liverpool was watching this game very closely and make the necessary preparation to face AC Milan.I wanna see the repeat of 2005, where Liverpool staged the greatest comeback in the history of football.Let the whole stadium in Athens be covered in a sea of RED.

This is why I watch football...

PS: I am not a Liverpool fan either... :-)

Oh no...

Oh no, not another shooting again. Dear god, all this madness. Why do all this things happen..
Why did god allow all this to happen? For those who are not aware, there was a shooting incident involving a student at a university which resulted in 32 people dead. There have been other high profile shootings before most notably the incident which people and the media dub the "Columbine School Massacre" , the shooting at the Amish community in Pennsylvania and the shooting in Canada quite recently.

If you notice, the majority of these incidents involve students and occur in institution of higher learning or public schools. Now we can argue about the US gun laws but that's another story for another time. At this moment, I would like to point out that the involvement of juveniles/young adults cannot be denied. It could be argued that while any individual given the correct circumstances would resolve to doing this act,it would seem that the involvement of these particular age group would seem the most prevalent.Does this mean that juveniles/young people and firearms don't mix? Should the government take notice of this particular factor in addressing this matter?

I would like to think that the solution lies in the preventing the situation from happening, but if this is the case it would result in another round of argument and debate. How should the government address this matter in the light of adopting preventive measures? Should the government identify "potential" offenders by having a monitoring system implanted at these institutions? But this would mean stereotyping not to mention a violation of civil rights, eg right to privacy. On the other hand, the government could look at it's gun laws in the first place eg guns in the first place. However this would also mean dealing with legal matter most notably the First Amendment and commercial issue as the firearms business has become an important industry per se.

Whoah, it ain't easy making the decisions. It would seem easy but taking into account of all these matters and a whole lot more, it is certain that a lot of consideration is needed. Dang.

Anyway, I realised so far that most of my posts are of serious nature.I wanna balance this with more humorous and light hearted issues. Looking forward to this.

Signing out.
